First things first, I generally advise that you make some decent progress on your new website prior to utilizing these free customization hours. CLEAN is super flexible right out of the box making it very easy to work with without having to know or touch a lick of code.
How are the free customization hours best utilized?
You'll get the most bang for your buck using these customization hours when you have a specific request that would require code in any of the modules, templates, etc. to be edited or added to.
Do I need to use the free customization hours right away?
Nope! Like I mentioned above, I recommend that you use them once you've made some progress on your website.
You have a full 365 days from the time you purchased the CLEAN PRO Theme to use these hours.
Can I use these free customization hours for other things?
The short answer is yes and no. Here is what they can and can't be used for.
Can be used for:
- Live Zoom training, consulting, or workshopping (30 min max increments)
- Theme settings setup for branding elements (however, not a great use of the time)
- UX review/audit prior to launch
Can NOT be used for:
- The creation of brand new custom modules or templates
- Customizing modules/templates from another theme
- Website migrations or building out webpages with your content
- Custom graphic design
- Back rubs :)
How fast can you get my customization request done?
Largely, this depends upon the request and my current project calendar. Generally speaking, you can expect your request to be completed within 5-7 days from when we work out the details.
How do I make a customization request?
Simple, just reach out to me via my contact page and let me know what you have in mind. In most cases, I've found the customization requests are pretty straightforward. If any require more details or a discussion, I'm happy to hop on a quick 15 min Zoom to hash anything out.
What if my request requires more than the 2 free hours?
You'd actually be pretty surprised what I'm able to accomplish with the 2 free hours. More often than not, customers never need to purchase additional hours. In the case that you do, I offer various sized hourly packs as add-ons.
